Led by Ed Drewitt our fourth Wild Wednesday in 2013 looked at the huge range of trees at Eastwood Farm.
On a warm evening with breaking cloud it was interesting to compare the older trees that date from when Eastwood Farm was still a dairy farm with the newer growth on the tipped area. There were also lots of swifts overhead and we we had a great view of a buzzard. As a bonus a large bat (greater horseshoe?) was flying over Beeses while we drank coffee on the deck after the walk.
A big thank you also to Beese's Riverside Bar & Tea Gardens for their support of the Wild Wednesday's.
